As a part of our community outreach effort, we screened an episode of Charlie’s Angels at Williamstown Commons, a nursing home especially for Alzheimer’s patients.
On Sunday Jan 31, five volunteers from Purple Valley Films visited the activities room of the nursing home. About a dozen residents in wheel chairs attended the event. The screening kicked off with Helen Cha’s violin solo, followed by the 50-minute episode. The session concluded with our volunteers chatting with each member of the audience, talking about their daily lives and getting feedback about the screening. Most residents expressed interest in future screenings.
